These days we have been trying hard
to locate each other . A big bunch of CO97 guys & gals are at Bangalore.
Few are at Mumbai ,others at Pune , Chennai , Calcutta , Jamshedpur and
Delhi. Chinu has gone to the states and the rest are scattered. I do not
have info about all, but information and email addresses are pouring in.
Please inform of any changes in my listing. Also please inform if you do
not find yourself in this listing. I hope this listing , which is city
wise & Company wise, will help out to locate friends.

Soumen Sarkar , Anamika fame ) is the GS . It is scheduled to be held from
18th Feb - 22 Feb 1998 . Old format of last 2 days of Reunion will be followed.

Hello,
I just received a sad news from Prof. Subrata Chakravarty of
Civil Engineering, BEC(DU), that Prof. A. K. Datta of
Environmental Eng. in CE passed away last Sunday. For those of
us who were privileged to be his students, he was a great
teacher. He single-handedly developed the Public Health
Engineering Laboratory at BEC, developed the Environmental
Engineering courses in 3rd and 4th year CE. As far as I can
remember Prof. Datta was a graduate of '65 Civil from BEC.
Later he went on to do his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in
Environmental Engineering. He had authored number of
publications including books which we referred to in our
undergrad studies in Public Health, Environmental and Water
Supply Engineering. He was a resident of Chandannagore.
