The first phase of the BECDU-BECA campus-wide lan , set up on a fibre optic backbone
is complete . On its completion , a central server will serve all the departments.
This will help share valuable resources among departments. We suggest , why not
the hostels be connected too !
As from a recent mail from Partha Sarkar ( 4th yr CST ) , the guys back at
college are planning to launch a REBECA 98 web page. This move is as
good as ours , if they can utilize it to get some , you know what!!
